Listen first
Before advising on value, marketing or timing, I want to understand the reason behind the move, the pressures involved and what a good outcome would look like for you.
Founder & Director
Brenchley’s is founder led by design. When you ask for advice, a valuation or a plan for your property, you should know who is responsible for the answer. Shaun reviews the details personally and keeps the service calm, clear and accountable.

Brenchley’s was built from a simple belief: property advice should feel more personal, more careful and more accountable than the standard agency experience.
Shaun wanted to create an independent Wimbledon agency where clients receive direct communication, honest guidance and a level of presentation normally associated with larger premium brands, but with the care and attentiveness of a smaller business.
My aim is for every client to feel properly looked after. Not rushed, not passed around, and not treated like one more listing. Brenchley’s is built for people who value trust, presentation and personal service.
I started Brenchley’s because I believe estate agency should feel more considered than many people have come to expect.
Clients often need more than a price, a listing and a promise to “keep them updated”. They need someone to listen properly, explain the evidence, prepare the property with care, and stay close enough to the detail to notice when something needs attention.
Property decisions can be emotional as well as financial. Selling a home, letting a property or deciding what to do next with an asset can carry pressure, uncertainty and responsibility. My role is to make that process clearer, calmer and more manageable.
Brenchley’s is not built around volume for the sake of volume. It is built around doing the work properly, communicating plainly and taking responsibility for the standard of the service.

Brenchley’s works from Unit 9, The Apprentice Shop; the building where apprentices once learned textile printing beside the Wandle, in a corner of London that has made things carefully by hand for nine centuries, from Merton Priory to William Morris to the Liberty print works. An independent business doing careful work from this address is not an accident of lettings availability; it is joining a very long queue. The full story is in the Journal.
The regulation is the other half of the trust question, so here it is plainly: Brenchley’s carries the same protections as the national chains, The Property Ombudsman membership, Propertymark Client Money Protection, HMRC anti-money-laundering supervision, ICO registration and NAEA Propertymark accreditation; held by a one-person firm because clients deserve the protection either way. Every membership and registration number is published in the footer of every page, and key certificates are available to view and download for reassurance.
The service is designed to feel professional without becoming distant. Every property and every client situation needs a little care before advice is given.
Before advising on value, marketing or timing, I want to understand the reason behind the move, the pressures involved and what a good outcome would look like for you.
Good advice should be supported by comparable evidence, current market conditions and a clear explanation of how buyers or tenants are likely to respond.
Presentation matters. Photography, wording, launch timing and viewing preparation all influence how a property is received when it reaches the market.
Clients should not have to chase for basic updates. I aim to keep the next step clear, explain what has happened and be honest when the market gives us feedback.
Founder led does not mean informal. It means accountable. It means the person giving the advice is close to the work, close to the client and close to the outcome.
At Brenchley’s, the details matter: how a property is prepared, how enquiries are handled, how viewings are followed up, how feedback is interpreted and how clients are kept informed throughout the process.
I want the experience to feel calm, structured and human. Premium service should not feel cold. Honest advice should not feel careless. Good estate agency should make people feel more confident, not more pressured.
A property should not feel rushed to market. The launch should be thought through, properly presented and supported by the right information.
Clients deserve advice that is clear and realistic, even when the answer needs more nuance than a simple headline price.
Marketing should respect the property and the client’s objective. It should feel polished, accurate and appropriate for the audience.
Viewings, enquiries and offers need proper follow up. The quality of communication after launch can matter as much as the launch itself.
